AN ORDINANCE annexing certain
lands to the Village of Elk Grove
Village, Illinois.
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Village Clerk
of the Village of Elk Grove Village by CHICAGO TITLE and TRUST
COMPANY, an Illinois Corporation, as Trustee under Trust No. 38909
and not personally, being the sole owner of record of the hereinafter
describedhad and territory, requesting annexation of said tract of land
to the Village of Elk Grove Village, and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate
limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove
Village, is uninhabited and has no electors residing thereon; aad
WHEREAS, the said petition is under oath and in all -espects
complies with the requirements of the statute in such case mr.de and
provided; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of tads Village
have examined said petition and have considered the question of the
annexation of the territory described in said petition and bel.eve it to be
to the best interests of the municipality that such territory be annexed
thereto, Now, Therefore:
BE IT ORDAI NED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOJ,RD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE, COOK COUNTY
ILLINOIS:
to -wit:
Section 1. That the lands and territory described in ;aid petition
The South thirty-six (36) acres of Lot Eleven (11)
in the Subdivision of the Estate of Henry Landmeier
being a part of Sections twenty-six (26) and thirty-
five (35), Township forty-one (41) North, Range
eleven (11). East of the Third Principal Merdiain of
Cook County, Illinois
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village, is
not embraced thereon, is uninhabited, contains no electors residing
thereon, and is iunincorporated, be and the same is hereby annexed to
the Village of Elk Grove Village so that hereafter said territory shall
be included within the boundary lines and limits of said Village as is by
law in such case made and provided.
Section 2. The Village Clerk of this Village is hereby directed
to record a certified copy of this ordinance, together with an accurate
map of said, annexed territory, with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook
County, Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
