AN ORDINANCE vacating water storage
site and access road thereto.
WHEREAS, The Village of Elk Grove Village has heretofore
approved a water storage site on Lot 771 and the access road to said
water storage site, said access road lying between Lots 767 and 768
in Elk Grove Village Section 1 South, being a subdivision in the North
half of Section 28, Township 41 North„ Range 11 East of the Third Principal
Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois as shown by Plat dated March 12, 1957
and recorded in the Recorder's Office of Cook County, Illinois, as
document number 16886255: and,
WHEREAS, The President and Board of Trustees find that said
water storage site and access road thereto is no longer needed or
necessary and that it would be for the beat interest of the Village of
Elk Grove Village that the said site and access road thereto be vacated
and the said area devoted to other useful purposes:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT
AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE,
COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the water storage site located on Lot 771 and
the access road to said water storage site, said access road lying
between Lots 767 and 768 in Elk Grove Village Section 1 South, beiag
a subdivision in the North half of Section 28, Township 41 North, Range Il„
East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois as shown
by Plat dated March 12, 1957 and recorded in the Recorder's Office
of Cook County, Illinois, as document number 16886255, be and the same
is hereby vacated.
Section Z. That the Village Clerk be and is hereby directed to
record a certified copy of this ordinance with the Recorder of Deeds
of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
upon its passage and approval according to law.
