Section 3. Pick-ups. One pick -tap as herein set f: ji:th olipAl ie
made during each week. Said containe:ca shall be placed on thee lsa.,—kway
or on the side or the rear of the residence, if garbage coR ctious are to
be made frorn said areas by special agreement on the day designated for
the collection of said garbage, rubbish or waste.
Section 4. Pees. A fee of $1. 50 per nionth shall be charged for
the collection and disposal of garbage, x•ubbish and ashes .when placed ox -t,
the parkway for pick-up. A fee of $2. Ofl per month shall be charged for
the collection and disposal of garbage, rubbish and ashes when request is
made that it be picked up from the side or the rear of the house by special
agreement. Said fees are for each house or for each apartment. 1.he_billing
for such charges shall be shade every two rnonths by the Monarch Disposal
Co. , and all such fees and charges shall be paid to there.
Sections 5. ,Violations and psrialty. It shall be unlawful for any perao
firm or corporation to burn or bury garbage withan the 'iVillage of Elk Grove

nuioance and to attract Mao, vermin or rats, provided however, that
approved gasinators or such similar appvoved equipment when properly
installed and inspected may he used for the burning of garbage and also,
properly inetaalled kitchen garbage disposal ainits may be used for the
disposal of garbage into the sewer lines within the Village; and any person,
firm or corporation violating the provisions of this Ordixsar.ce shall be ftned
not more than One Hundred Dollars for each offense, mach day that a
violation is permitted to exist constitutes a ettarate offense.
