A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
BRICK PAVER POLICY
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of
Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the Village President and Board of Trustees do
hereby adopt the document entitled:
BRICK PAVER POLICY
MARCH 28, 1997
a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set
forth.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.

BRICK PAVER POLICY

The Village will replace driveway aprons
removed or damaged while performing Village
maintenance activities. If the driveway
apron is constructed with brick pavers, the
Village will provide the homeowner with funds
equivalent to what the Village would have
paid for the restoration of a concrete
driveway apron. The Village's cost to
replace the apron will be calculated based on
the bid costs the Village receives for the
concrete replacement program. The homeowner
will be required to have the brick paver
block apron reinstalled and then present the
bill to the Village as proof that the apron
has been restored.
