A RESOLUTION APPROVING A STATEMENT OF COMMITMENT TO
CONSTRUCT PUBLIC SIDEWALK BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE
VILLAGE AND OSTROM FAMILY LIMITED PARTNERSHIP (METAL IMPACT
CORPORATION, 1501 OAKTON STREET)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DUPage, State of
Illinois:
Section 1: That the Village of Elk Grove Village does hereby accept
the attached doctmient marked:
"Statement of Commitment: to Construct Public Sidewalk"
a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set
forth.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.

STATEMENT OF COMMITMENT
TO
CONSTRUCT PUBLIC SIDEWALK
LEGAL DESCRII? ION OF SUBJECT PROPERTY: Lot 159 in Higgins industrial park unit 112, being
a subdivision in the northeast 1/4 of section 27, township 41 north, range 11 east of third principal
merdian in Cook County Illinois. The Ostrom Family Limited Partnership agrees to construct public
sidewalk along the Oakton frontage of the above-described property in the Village of Elk Grove Village
immediately upon receiving notice to do so from the Village of Elk Grove Village. We agree to
construct all storm sewers and appurtenances uquired for the public sidewalk construction and will secure
all the necessary permits for the construction.
Should the Village of Elk Grove Village award a contract for the sidewalk and/or storm sewer
construction, we agree to pay our pro -rata share of the cost.
If property ownership is to be transferred prior m the construction of a public sidewalk and/or storm
sewer, we agee to require the new owner to execute a "Statement of Commitment to Install Public
Sidewalk" satisfactory to the Village of Elk Grove prior to the transfer of ownership.
I understand that the sidewalk construction waiver and the "Statement of Commitment to Construct Public
Sidewalk" will be recorded in the County Recorders office by the Village of Elk Grove Village and the
cost thereof is the responsibility of the applicant.
