A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE RESULTS OF THE CANVASS CONDUCTED BY
THE CANVASSING BOARD OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE OF
THE VOTES OF THE CONSOLIDATED ELECTION FOR VILLAGE OFFICIALS
HELD ON TUESDAY, APRIL 4, 1995 AND PROCLAIMING THE RESULTS
WHEREAS, a Consolidated Election was held in and for the Village of
Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, on Tuesday,
April 4, 1995, for the purpose of electing - three (3) Village Trustees
each for a four (4) year term; two (2) Library Directors - each for a
six (6) year term; and
WHEREAS, the Village President, a Village Trustee, and the Village
Clerk met after due notice to all concerned parties and canvassed the
results of the election as required by statute by examining the official
tally sheets and returns which have been transmitted to the Village
Clerk by the County Clerk and have made their report to the Village
Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage Counties,
Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That said election was duly held as provided by law.
Section 2: That a total of 3,645 votes were cast in the
following manner:
For the Office of Village Trustee:
Michael A. Tosto 1548
Nancy J. Czarnik 1714
Samuel L. Lissner 2233
William Gruzynski 1577
James P. Petri 2066
Section 3: That a total of 3,645 votes were cast in the
following manner:
For the Office of the Library Board of Trustees:

Schumann

Section 4: That the Proclamation of the Canvassing Board is
hereby accepted in total.
Section 5: That Samuel L. Lissner, James P. Petri and Nancy J.
Czarnik received the highest number of votes for the Office of Village
Trustee and they are hereby declared elected to the Office of Village
Trustee of the Village of Elk Grove Village for a term of four (4) years.
Section 6: That Mary C. Jedzinek and Ralph J. Schumann
received the highest number of votes for the Office of Library Board of
Trustees and they are hereby declared elected to the Office of Library
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village for a term of six
(6) years.
Section 7: That this Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after it passage and approval according to law.
VOTE: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0
