A RESOLUTION AMENDING ARTICLE VIII, SECTION 8.19
ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE OF THE PERSONNEL RULES AND
REGULATIONS OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Section 8.19 (VIII) Administrative Leave, of
the Personnel Rules and Regulations of the Village of Elk Grove
Village is hereby amended as set forth on Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and by this reference incorporated herein.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
VOTE: AYE: 5 NAY: 0 ABSENT: 1

8.19 Administrative Leave
In the case of non -unionized managerial, supervisory and professional
personnel, it is implicit in the nature of their positions, that time.
beyond the normal work schedule may often necessarily be spent on the
job. As a means to recognize responsive, responsible, and quality
performance, the Village Manager may, from time to time, authorize
Administrative Leave. It will be entirely at the Manager's discretion
and will not be of a completely remunerative nature.
