A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND VILLAGE
CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE
OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE AND THE SUBURBAN BUS DIVISION (PACE) OF
THE REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY (DIAL-A-RIDE)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of
Illinois as follows:
Section 1 : That the Village President be and is hereby authorized to
sign the attached documents marked:
AMENDMENT AGREEMENT
a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set
forth and the Village Clerk is authorized to attest said documents upon the
signature of the Village President.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.

AMENDMENT AGREEMENT
This Amendment Agreement is made December 14, 1993 by and between the Suburban Bus
Division of the Regional Transportation Authority(RTA), operating under the name and
hereinafter referred to as "Pace", an Illinois municipal corporation, and the Village of Elk
Grove, an Illinois municipal corporation hereinafter referred to as "the Municipality".
The parties, in consideration of the mutual promises hereinafter set forth, hereby agree to
amend the Local Share Agreement between Pace and the Village of Elk Grove dated July 27,
1993 by entirely replacing Section 6B with the following revised Section 6B:
6. B. The Pace Contribution will be the lesser of the amounts as calculated below:
1) 70% of the Total Expense, minus fares; or,
2) $2.00 multiplied by the number of one-way passenger trips.
Both Pace and the Municipality hereby expressly agree that all of the rights, privileges,
provisions, terns and conditions as herein contained in the Local Share Agreement between
Pace and the Municipality dated July 27, 1993 are hereby incorporated in and made a part of
the Amendment Agreement as though such rights, privileges, provisions, terms and
conditions were set forth in full in the body of this Amendment Agreement.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this Amendment Agreement to be
made effective and executed as of the date first set forth by their duly authorized officials.
