A RESCLUTIOP' ACCEPTING THE RESULTS OF THE CANVASS CONDUCTED BY
THE CAIv'VASSING PCARD OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE OF
THE VCTES OF THE CCNSOLIDATED ELECTION FOR VILLAGE OFFICIALS
HELD ON TUESDAY, APRIL 20, 1993 AND PROCLAIMING THE RESULTS
WHEREAS, a Consolidated Election was held in and for the Village of
Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, on Tuesday,
April 20, 1993, for the purpose of electing one (1) Village President,
for a four (4) year term, three (3) Village Trustees, each for a four
(4) year term; three (3) Library Trustees, each for a six (6) year term.
WHEREAS, the Village President, a Village Trustee, and the Village
Clerk met after due notice to all concerned parties and canvassed the
results of the election as required by statute by examining the official
tally sheets and returns which have been transmitted to the Villace
Clerk by the Ccunty Clerk ane have made their report to the Village
Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage Counties,
Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That said election was duly held as provided by law.
Section 2: That a total of 6181 votes were cast for the
Office of Village President in the following manner:

Section 3: That a total of 6181 votes were cast for the
Office of Village Trustee in the following manner:

Section 4: That a total of 6181 votes were cast for the
office of Library Trustee in the following manner.
Paul B. Kaplan 3551
Bart K. Dill 3497
Gerald J. Wonak 3385
David M. Foss 2834
Section 5: That the Proclamation of the Canvassing Board is
hereby accepted in total.
Section 6: That Dennis J. Gallitano received the highest number
of votes for the Office of Village President of the Village of Elk Grove
Village for a term of four (4) years and is hereby declared elected.
Section 7: That Craig B. Johnson, Paul A. Rettberg and Ronald L.
Chernick received the highest number of votes for the Office of Village
Trustee and are hereby declared elected to the Office of Village Trustee
of the Village of Elk Grove Village for a term of four (4) years each.
Secticr. E: That Paul B. Kaplan, Bart K. Dill and Gerald J.
Wonak received the highest number of votes for the Office of Library
Trustee and are hereby declared elected to the Office of Library Trustee
of the Village of Elk Grove Village for a term of six (6) years each.
Section. 9: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after it passage and approval according to law.
