A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE ATTORNEY
TO PREPARE THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTATION TO INVOLUNTARILY
ANNEX CERTAIN PROPERTY CONTIGUOUS TO AND SURROUNDED BY
THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village has been advised that a certain
parcel of property located at the Northwest corner of Oakton
Street and Busse Road is outside the corporate limits of the
Village but is bounded either wholly by the Village of Elk
Grove Village or by the Village and another municipality;
and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village to cause the annexation of said
property to the Village of Elk Grove Village;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the Village Attorney is directed to
prepare such documentation necessary to involuntarily annex
the property located on the Northwest corner of Oakton Street
and Busse Road and legally described as follows:
That part of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast
1/4 of Section 22, Township 41 North, Range
11 commencing at the Southeast corner of said
Southeast 1/4 thence West 277.05 feet; thence
North 75 feet; thence continuing North 200.0
feet; thence East 200 feet; thence South 190.00
feet; thence West Southwesterly 120.42 feet;
thence West 80 feet to the point of beginning
East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook
County, Illinois.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according
to law.
