A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND VILLAGE CLERK TO
EXECUTE A GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
AND THE STATE OF ILLINOIS EMERGENCY SERVICE AND DISASTER AGENCY
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of
Illinois:
Section 1 : That the Village President be and is hereby authorized
to sign the attached documents marked:
GRANT AGREEMENT
a copy of which is, attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set
forth and the Village Clerk is authorized to attest said documents upon
the signature of the Village President.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.

GRANT AGREEMENT
IT IS AGREED BY AND BETWEEN THE STATE OF ILLINOIS EMERGENCY
SERVICES AND DISASTER AGENCY, AS FIRST PARTY (HEREIN CALLED
IESDA) AND THE UNDERSIGNED POLITICAL SUBDIVISION, AS SECOND
PARTY (HEREIN CALLED .THE PROGRAM APPLICANT) AS FOLLOWS:
1. Purpose and Term of Grant. This grant is made to
the Village of Elk Groves to assist
in fulfilling its function in carrying out the admini-
stration of the emergency services programs. The
period of performance for this Agreement shall be July
1 , 1986 through June 30, 1987.
2. Use. Use shall be as prescribed in the Civil
Preparedness Guide (CPG) 1-3 , Federal Assistance
Handbook: Emergency Management, Direction and Control
Programs (Federal Emergency Management Agency) and the
IESDA rules.
3 . Billing. The Program Applicant shall submit a
reimbursement request 45 days following either the end
of each month or the end of each quarter. Requests
shall include detailed information as to the services
received and any expenses billed shall be itemized in
accordance with applicable State and Federal Regula-
tions.
4. Payment. Reimbursement is generally limited to
one-half of eligible necessary and essential expenses
for emergency management personnel and administration,
travel, office supplies, and administrative equipment,
rent and maintenance of office space, utilities and
insurance. The estimated reimbursement for
Elk Grove Village will be $ 8.500.00
5. Recovery of Funds. All funds remaining at the end
of the Agreement term shall be returned to IESDA within
45 days.
