A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE AND SIGNING OF AN AMENDED
AGREEMENT WITH COOK COUNTY FOR A WATER UTILITY RIGHT -OF. -WAY
ALONG DEVON AVENUE, EAST OF BUSSE ROAD (ROUTE 83)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of
Illinois:
Section 1: That the Village President be and is hereby authorized
to sign the attached documents marked:
"EASEMENT. EXTENSION AGREEMENT"
a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set
forth and the Village Clerk is authorized to attest said documents upon
the signature of the Village President.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.

EASEMENT EXTENSION AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT made by and between the Village of Elk Grove
Village, Illinois hereinafter referred to as LESSEE, and the
County of Cook, a Body Politic and Corporate, hereinafter in
convenience referred to as LESSOR.
WHEREAS, a certain easement agreement heretofore executed
by and between the parties, having to do with installation and
operation of a twelve (12) inch cast-iron pipe water main term-
inated on 12-27-82.
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village and the County
of Cook have agreed to extend said easement agreement as under
the terms and conditions hereinafter provided.
NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual
covenants and agreements herein set forth, and for further
consideration of ONE DOLLAR ($1.00), paid by each party to the
other, receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, and other good
and valuable consideration transferred and received by and be-
tween the parties hereto, the parties agree to hereby extend for
the term of said easement agreement for a period of five (5)
year, from January 1, 1984 to December 31, 1989. All other
terms and conditions of said easement agreement shall remain in
full force and effect.
