A RESOLUTION RELATING TO PARTICIPATION BY ELECTED
OFFICIALS IN THE ILLINOIS MUNICIPAL RETIREMENT FUND
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village became a participant in
the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund effective January 1, 1962; and
WHEREAS, elected officials may participate in the Illinois Municipal
Retirement Fund if they are in positions which qualify them for membership in
IMRF: and
WHEREAS, this governing body can determine what the normal annual
hourly requirements of its part-time elected officials are, and should make
such determination for the guidance and direction of the Board of Trustees
of the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of
Illinois:
Section 1: That the President and Board of Trustees do hereby find
that the positions of the following elected officials beginning on the date
shown qualify them for membership in IMRF:
TITLE OF ELECTED POSITION BEGINNING DATE
Village President January 1, 1962
Village Trustee January 1, 1962
Section 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to file a
certified copy of this resolution with the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund.
Section 3: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval according to law until rescinded, and the
Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund is notified in writing of the rescission.
