A MANAGER, A PROFE$$IONAL AND A FRIEND
WHEREAS, the Pillage of Elk Grove Village and the Village of
,Schaumburg share common houndaries;
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grave Village has participated
in intergovernmental activities with a number of govern-
mental entities;
WHEREAS, effective ana efficient local government can be
achieved with the whalehea:rtea support ana hard work of
a number of people;
WHEREAS, one such person has consistently given his time,
talent ana expertise to achieve excellence in the deliverg
of local public services to his own muniripality, to other
Municipalities, and to Elk Grave village; ana
WHEREAS, that person has been instrumental in advocating and
implementing progressive intergovernmental relations ana
programs for the use ana benefit of mang municipalities,
including the village of Elk Grove Village;
NOW 'THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of Elk Grave
Village fines here ana now publiclg express its heartfelt
appreciation to JOHN E. C015TE for his personal ana pro-
fessional dedicatian tawaril sauna local government services;
FURTHER BE IT R£sOLVED that JOHN E. COSTE he and is hereby
commendea far his leaaershi''p in the devotion to inter-
governmental services, programs ana cooperation;
BE IT RESOLVED that an the occasion of JOHN E. CO,STE`S
retirement an mag 1, 1983 els Village manager, Village of
schaumburg, ana as Vice Chairman of the Northwest Suburban
Municipal Joint Action Water Agency ana from other leader-
ship duties, the Village Presibent and $aarb of 'trustees
of the Village of Elk Grave Village, through this RESOLUTION,
he extend their THANK JOU to JOHN E. COST£ far his autstana-
ing service anb unselfish contributions in the field of Loral
and Intergovernmental Public Administratian; and
IT IS RESOLVED that this RESOLUTION be suitably framed ana
presented to JOHN E. COSTE -- a wanderful person.
