A RESOLUTION HONORING VILLAGE CLERK, FAY M. BISHOP
WHEREAS, Fay M. Bishop has been an employee of the Village of Elk Grove
Village for the past nineteen years; and
WHEREAS, Fay M. Bishop will be retiring as Village Clerk of the Village
on June 1, 1982 and leaving the community; and
WHEREAS, her leadership, initiative and planning enabled the Office of
the Village Clerk to develop professionally and has served as a model to
other communities; and
WHEREAS, her dedication to public service and the Village has been an
inspiration to the President and Board of Trustees and the entire Village
Staff; and
WHEREAS, Fay M. Bishop has provided all of us with love, friendship
and enrichment of our lives; and
WHEREAS, it is widely recongnized by all residents of the Village that
Fay M. Bishop has contributed to making the Village a dynamic and better
community in which to live and work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois
that:
Section 1: That Fay M. Bishop is hereby commended for her leadership
and commitment to the highest public service standards which earned her the
respect of the Village President, Board of Trustees, Administration and
Community.
Section 2: That on behalf of the Village of Elk Grove Village Fay M.
Bishop is hereby extended our sincerest wishes for good health and
happiness in her retirement.
Section 3: That as an expression of gratitute for outstanding service
by Fay M. Bihsop to the Village, the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Elk Grove Village has unanimously adopted this Resolution on the 25th day
of May, 1982.
