A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE RESULTS OF
THE CANVASS CONDUCTED BY THE CANVASS-
ING BOARD OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE OF THE
VOTES OF THE CONSOLIDATED ELECTION FOR
VILLAGE OFFICIALS HELD APRIL 7, 1981,
AND PROCLAIMING THE RESULTS THEREOF
WHEREAS, a consolidated election was held in and
for the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage, Illinois, on Tuesday, April 7, 1981, for
the purpose of electing a Village President and three
Village Trustees (each for a four-year term) and three
Library Directors (each for a six-year term).
WHEREAS, the Village President, a Village Trustee
and the Village Clerk met after due notice to all con-
cerned parties and canvassed the results of the election
as required by statute by examining the official tally
sheets and returns which have been transmitted to the
Village Clerk by the County Clerk and have made their
report to the Village Board:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village,
Cook and DuPage Counties, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That said election was duly held as pro-
vided by law.
Section 2: That a total of 2551 votes were
cast in the following manner:
For the office of Village President:
Charles J. Zettek, Jr
For the office of Village Trustee:
Clark W. Fulton, Jr.
Nancy Olszewski
Joseph T. Bosslet
Robert F. Fleming
Nickolas C. Kostos
Elizabeth Anne Gardner
Stephen M. Uhlarik
- Ronald L. Chernick
Section 3: That a total of 2551

for the office of Library Director in the following manner:

Section 4: That the proclamation of the Canvassing Board is
hereby accepted in total.
Section 5: That Charles J. Zettek, Jr., received the highest
number of votes for the office of Village President of the Village of
Elk Grove Village for a term of four (4) years and is hereby declared
elected.
Section 6: That Joseph T. Bosslet, Stephen M. Uhlarik, Ronald L.
Chernick received the highest number of votes for the office of Village
Trustee of the Village of Elk Grove Village for a term of four (4) years
each and are hereby declared elected.
Section 7: That Tina Paglia, Nancy L. Klyber, and Richard William
Klinger received the highest number of votes for the office of Library
Director and are hereby declared elected to the office of Library
Director of the Village of Elk Grove Village for a term of six (6) years
each.
Section 8: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
