A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT
AND VILLAGE CLERK TO EXECUTE A RELEASE BETWEEN
THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE AND C. B. CONSTRUCTION
COMPANY
BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That the Village President and Village
Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Release to the
C. B. Construction Company, a copy of which is attached
hereto and by this reference incorporated herein.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval
according to law.

ABSENT: 2

R E L E A S E
WHEREAS, the plaintiff RONALD JOHN SANDERS, has
accepted the total sum of $750,000.00 plus the waiver of
an outstanding Workmen's Compensation lien of $109,290.26
in settlement of any and all claims he has arisinz out of
an accident which occurred on or about September 26, 1978
at or near Brantwood St., Elk Grove Village, Illinois
in which said RONALD JOHN SANDERS received serious personal
injuries, and
WHEREAS, EMPLOYERS INSURANCE OF WAUSAU has paid the
sum of $600,000.00 and has waived its outstanding Workmen's
Compensation lien of $109,290.26 on behalf of third -party
defendant C. B. CONSTRUCTION CO. as and for C. B. CONSTRUCTION
COMPANY'S share of the total settlement:
THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE hereby releases C. B.
CONSTRUCTION CO. from any and all claims and liabilities
which it has, or may have in the future, against said C. B.
CONSTRUCTION CO. as a result of the accident involving
RONALD JOHN SANDERS which occurred on or about September 26,
1978 at or near Brantwood St., Elk Grove Village, Illinois.
