A RESOLUTION HONORING THE ELK GROVE HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL TEAM
WHEREAS, the Elk Grove High School Football Team has distinguished
itself by becoming the 1977 Mid -Suburban League South Conference Football
Champions and winner of the first game of the State play-offs; and
WHEREAS, the Elk Grove Grenadiers provided their fans with an excellent
season highlighted by fine coaching and exceptional individual and team
effort of its' football players; and
WHEREAS, recognition is given to Principal Donald Ring Ph.D., Athletic
Director Robert Tipsword, Coaches Don Schnake, Brendan Flynn, Britton Farroh
and the following team members:

WHEREAS, The Championship was won as a result of the overall determina-
tion, self sacrifice and dedication displayed by the above mentioned coaches
and players;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois,
as follows:
Section 1. That the Elk Grove High School Grenadiers are hereby
commended for the honor they have bestowed upon the Village and High School
by winning the Mid -Suburban League South Conference Football Championship
and the first game of the State play-offs.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval according to law.
