A,RESOLUTION FOR THE INCLUSION OF ELK GROVE PARK DISTRICT
EMPLOYEES IN THE GROUP HEALTH AND LIFE INSURANCE PLAN OF
ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Elk Grove Park District has sought to reduce its premium rate
for the group health and life insurance provided its employees;
and,
WHEREAS, the Elk Grove Park District has determined it is paying twice the
premium rate paid by the Village of Elk Grove for a less compre-
hensive group health and life insurance plan; and,
WHEREAS, the Elk Grove Park District has approached the Village of Elk
Grove for inclusion in its group health and life insurance plan
as a joint purchaser; and,
WHEREAS, the legality of the Elk Grove Park District's joining the group
health and life insurance plan of the Village of Elk Grove as a
joint purchaser of services is provided for in the Illinois
State Statutes; and,
WHEREAS, the possibility of the Elk Grove Park District saving a percentage
of the cost of its current group health and life insurance would
directly benefit the taxpayers of Elk Grove Village,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Counties of Cook and DuPage,
State of Illinois, that the employees of the Elk Grove Park
District be included, through joint purchasing, in the group
health and life insurance plan of the Village of Elk Grove, at
no additional cost to the Village, and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution shall be in -full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
