A RESOLUTION OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE,
VILLAGE OF BENSENVILLE AND CITY OF WOODDALE REGARDING A CHANGE IN A
PORTION OF BOUNDARY LINE FOR WASTEWATER AND SEWERAGE TREATMENT REGIONS
WHEREAS the ILLINOIS POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD and the ILLINOIS ENVIRONMENTAL
PROTECTION AGENCY have heretofore divided the County of DuPage into regions and
subregions for wastewater and sewerage treatment; and
WHEREAS, within Region 1 there has been created a subregion 1-B consisting
of Bensenville, Illinois and that portion of Elk Grove Village in DuPage County
adjacent unincorporated areas and establishing boundaries dividing Region 1 and
Subregion 1-B; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Bensenville, City of WoodDale and the Village of
Elk Grove Village in Illinois desires to change a portion of this boundary.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of Bensenville, the City
of WoodDale and the Village of Elk Grove Village in Illinois hereby agree to
change a portion of said boundary line as herein described from a point on
Thorndale Road at the present Elk Grove Village limits at approximately 1,200
feet east of WoodDale which is County 28 and generally north along said Village
boundary approximately 1,200 feet east of WoodDale Road to the Cook County line
to read as follows, west on Thorndale Road to WoodDale Road, which is County 28
and north along WoodDale Road to Cook County line and east along said Cook County
line.
PASSED this 11th day of March 1975.
