A RESOLUTION CANVASSING THE VOTES AT THE REGULAR ELECTION OF VILLAGE
OFFICIALS HELD ON APRIL 15, 1975 AND DECLARING THE RESULTS THEREOF
WHEREAS, a regular election was held in and for the Village of Elk Grove
Village,Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois on Tuesday, April 15, 1975 for
the purpose of electing Three Village Trustees (each for a four year term),
and Four Library Directors (3 for a term of six years) and (1 for a term of
four years); and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees conducted a canvass by
examing the official tally sheets and returns of the various judges in the
various precincts as to the votes cast at said election and are ready to
report:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of irusteeg
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage Counties, Illinois, as
follows:
Section 1: That said election was duly held as provided by law.
Section 2: That 1411 votes were cast for the office of Village Trustee
(4 year term) in the following manner:

Section 3: That 1405 votes were cast for the office of Library Director
(6 year term)in the following manner:

Section 4: That ' votes were cast for the office of Library Director
(4 year term) in the following manner:
Darlene J. Greaves

Section 5: That Ronald L. Chernick, Michael Tosto, and Edward W. Kenna
received the highest number of votes for the office of Village Trustee (l; year
term) and they are hereby declared elected to the office of Village Trustee of
the Village of Elk Grove Village for a term of four (4) years each.
Section 6: That Tina Paglia, Mary D. Ullber and Nancy L. Klyber received
the highest number of votes for the office of Library Director (6 year term)
and they are hereby declared elected to the office of Library Director of the
Village of Elk Grove Village for a term of six (6) years each.
Section 7: That Darlene J. Greaves received the highest number of votes
for the office of Library Director (4 year term) and is hereby declared elected
to the office of Library Director of the Village of Elk Grove Village for a
term of four (4) years.
Section 8: That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and approval according to law.
PASSED this 22nd date of April 1975.
APPROVED this 22nd date of April 1975.
