A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE COOK COUNTY HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT ON THE
RECONSTRUCTION AND WIDENING OF LANDMEIER ROAD FROM TONNE ROAD TO
HIGGINS ROAD IN THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Cook County Board of Commissioners and the Cook County
Highway Department have recently contracted for the widening and improvement
of Landmeier Road from Tonne Road, east to Higgins Road;and
WHEREAS, the Cook County Highway Department retained Milburn Brothers,
Inc. as the primary contractor for the improvement of Landmeier Road; and
WHEREAS, the Look County Highway Department and its personnel , in close
cooperation with the contractor, Milburn Brothers, Inc. and appropriate
Village -Officials, proceeded to execute the construction project n a diiigent
workmanship and expedient manner.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village that the Cook County President and Board
of Commissioners and the Cook County Highway Department and Milburn Brothers ,
Inc. be and are hereby commended for having undertaken and completed in an
efficient and workmanlike manner the completion of the Landmeier Road improve-
ment Program in the Village of Elk Grove Village.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be sent to the
Cook County President and Board of Commissioners, the Cook County Highway Department
and Milburn Brothers, Inc. , Paddock Publications , and other news media.
This resolution having been adopted this 28thday of October
1975, is hereby declared an appropriate expression of appreciation by the
Village of Elk Grove Village for a job well done in reconstructing Landmeier
Road in Elk Grove Village.
