HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTION - 67-74 - 8/13/1974 - GRANT OF EASEMENT/STANDARD OIL PROP RESOLUTION NO. d!� 7 A RESOLUTION OF APPROVAL OF A PLAT OF SURVEY AND A GRANT OF EASEMENT GRANTED TO THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE BY THE AMOCO OIL COMPANY NOW, MEREFORL , BE IT RE SOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage Counties, Illinois, as follows : Section 1: That approval is hereby given a Plat of Survey granted to the Village of Elk Grove Vi.11age by the Amoco Oil Com- pany for water and sewer lines on property legally described hereinafter. Said Plat identified as Plat of Survey prepared by Emmet Kennedy and C ompany as Order No. 7406-020, ,dated July 11, 1974. Section 2: That approval is further given to a grant of easement granted to the Village, of Elk Grove Village by the Amoco Oil Company, a copy of which is: attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein. Section 3 : That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to record the original grant of easement with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois . Grantee shall repair any damage to property of Grantors , or their lessees , by the laying , construction, reconstruction, operation, maintenance, renewal, or renoval of said sever and water lines . Property will be restored to a condition as good as or better than before construction. Curbs damaged during construction will be replaced. Grantee shall hold Grantor and their successors harmless from and against all losses , claims , damages , demands , suits , or actions and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with the installation, use and maintenance of said sewer and water lines by the Grantee on the premises of the Grantor . ' Grantor reserves the right to use the easement property in any manner not inconsistent with the rights granted herein, provided, however , that Grantor shall not build, construct , erect or place , or permit others to build, construct, erect or place , any buildings over the easement property without the prior consent of Grantee.
