A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RECONSTRUCTION
PROJECT FOR ARLINGTON HEIGHTS ROAD
WHEREAS, the Cook County Highway Department will soon be starting the
reconstruction project of Arlington Heights Road from Salt Creek, south to
Devon Avenue, and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees are desirous of setting
certain regulations in accordance with this reconstruction project, and
WHEREAS, establishment of the following' regulations will be to the
benefit of all concerned:
That two way traffic be maintained at all times during
reconstruction of Biesterfield Road between Arlington
Heights Road and Wellington Avenue and on Arlington
Heights Road between Biesterfield Road and Devon Avenue,
Said reconstruction to take place during Phase II of the
project.
2. That during Phase I of the reconstruction project, non -truck
traffic be detoured from Arlington Heights Road by using
Elk Grove Boulevard and Kennedy Boulevards as detour routes.
The Village agrees to maintain the detour roadway during and
after its usage as a detour route.
3• That during the entire reconstruction period (Phases I & II)
that truck traffic be detoured from Arlington Heights Road
by way of using Landmeier Road and Tonne Road, with the under-
standing that the Village will maintain such roads during and
after their usage as detour routes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Ell, Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of
Illinois, that the Cook County Highway Department is hereby requested to
concur with the above regulations.
Section 1. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
