A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THE "BRIDGE" A YOUTH SERVICE BUREAU, SPONSORED BY
THE PALATINE TOWNSHIP YOUTH COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Bridge is a Youth Service Bureau sponsored by the Palatine
Township Youth Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Bridge staff had in the calendar year 1972 over 4,000
person to person contacts and over 7,000 incoming calls on its Hotline; and
WHEREAS, the Bridge has performed many services for the young people of
the Northwest Suburban area including crisis intervention, counseling, referrals,
and numerous programs to help young people reach their potential; and
WHEREAS, the Bridge has completed two years of successful involvement with
young people.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of Illinois
that the adoption of this resolution hereby proclaims the week of May 12 through
May 20, 1973 as Bridge Week.
