A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF PERFORMANCE BOND NO. 2056235
FROM SAFECO INSURANCE COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF $386,000.00 GUARANTEEING
CONSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS IN ELK GROVE VILLAGE SECTION 19 BY
CENTEX HOMES CORPORATION
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of
Illinois:
Section 1 . That the President and Board of Trustees do hereby authorize
acceptance of Performance Bond No. 2056235 in the amount of $386,000.00 from
Safeco Insurance Company to guarantee the construction of public improvements
streets, sanitary, water main, storm water system and retention pond, sidewalks,
street lights, street name signs and parkway trees in Elk Grove Village Section
19, Winston Grove Subdivision located west of Route 53 in Elk Grove Village,
Illinois, which improvements are fully described as Plan #45-10 dated March
26, 1973 and prepared by Elk Grove Engineering Company, 33 Park and Shop
Lane, Elk Grove Village, Illinois.

Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval according to law.

and truly to be rade, we bind ourselves , our heirs , executors , administrators, suc-
cessors, and assigns, ,jointly and severally, firmly by these presents.

WHEREAS, the above Principal has been or is about to be granted approval for a plat
of subdivision known as
Section 19 of Winston Grove Subdivision of Centex Homes Corporation
copy of said plat is attached hereto and made a part hereof, said approval being
conditioned upon the installation of streets , sanitary , water main, storm water
stem and retention pond, sidewalks, street lights , street name signs and parkwav
trees. in said subdivision, plans and specifications for which are attached hereto
and made a part hereof, and are described as Plan 1145-19 dated 3-26-73 and prepared
by Elk Grove Engineering Company, 33 Park and Shop Lane, Elk Grove, Illinois 60007.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CONDITION OF THE ABOVE OBLIGATION IS such, that if the above
bounden Principal shall well and truly and in good, sufficient and workmanlike
manner perform or cause to be performed the: terms of said plats, plans , and spec-
ifications, and each and every covenants , promises , agreements and provisions there-
in stipulated, then this obligation to be void; otherwise to remain in full force
and virtue.
