A RESOLUTION HONORING THE ELK GROVE HIGH SCHOOL TRACK TEAM

WHEREAS, the Elk Grove High School Track Team has distinguished itself
by becoming the 1973 Mid-Suburban Conference Champions; .and
WHEREAS, the Grenadiers provided their fans with an excellent season 1
highlighted by fine coaching and exceptional individual team effort by its
track team members; and
WHEREAS, Principal Robert Haskell , Athletic Director Robert Tipsword,
Head Coach James Wendler, Assistant Coaches Rich Bader, John Moore and
Gerry Woollard and the following team members:

Bill Butler William Imlah Robert Nardiello
Steve Busse David Jackson Brian Powell
Mike De Marie David Jensen Richard Radzis
Dave Dill Gary Koelbell Jeffrey Stewart

made this possible; and
WHEREAS, the Championship was won as a result of the overall determination,
self sacrifice and dedication displayed by the above mentioned coaches and
team members;
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of I
the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, as
follows:
Section 1 . That the Elk Grove High School Track Team is hereby commended
for the honor they have besto%.:ed upon the Village and High School by winning
the Mid-Suburban Conference Championship.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval according to law.
