A RESOLUTION COMMENDING RAYMOND F. MARINEC
WHEREAS, Raymond F. Marinec, performed distinguished
service to the Village of Elk Grove Village as a member of the
Elk Grove Village Police Department from January 13, 1962
to October 7, 1973, and
WHEREAS, Raymond F. Marinec, throuah meritorious service,
was promoted through the ranks from patrolman to police
sergeant on July 1, 1969; and to lieutenant of police on
August 16, 1972; and served as Investigations and Youth Unit
Commander in the Police Department from August 16, 1972, until
his resignation October 7, 1973.
WHEREAS, Raymond F. Marinec, has been appointed, effective
October 8, 1973, to become Chief of Police for the Village
of Alsip, State of Illinois; and by attaining this position
has brought esteem to the Village of Elk Grove Village and
the Elk Grove Police Department;
NOW, TI1EREFOI;1_, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and DuPaoe, State of Illinois, that Raymond F. Marinec,
is hereby commended for the success he has attained in his
chosen profession, and is hereby proclaimed to be the Honored
Citizen of the Village of Elk Grove Village, thi::6th_ day
of November 1973.
