A RESOLUTION CONCURRING WITH THE STATE OF ILLINOIS IN APPROVING
AWARDING OF A CONTRACT RELATIVE TO TOPICS PROJECT NO. T-5003 (60)
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village entered into an agreement
with the State of Illinois on September 10, 1973 with regard to TOPICS
Project T-5003 (60), and
WHEREAS, this project consists of the installation of traffic signals
on Elmhurst Road at the intersections of Greenleaf Avenue and Pratt Boule-
vard, and
WHEREAS, the State of Illinois opened bids on October 30, 1973 and
that Hecker Company was the lowest of four (4) bids received for this
project, and
WHEREAS, the awarding of a contract by the State is subject to the
concurrence of the Village of Elk Grove Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of Elk Grove Village
concurs with the State of Illinois in approving a contract with Hecker
Company for a total cost of $74,787.20.
Section 1. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
