HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTION - 37-05 - 6/21/2005 - AMEND PERSONNEL RULES & REGSRESOLUTION NO. 37-05 A RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION 4.3H, RESERVE DUTY, OF THE PERSONNEL RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois: Section 1. That the Mayor and Board of Trustees do hereby authorize amendments to the Personnel Rules and Regulations of the Village of Elk Grove Village, a copy of the amendments are attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set forth. Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTE. AYES: 5 NAYS: 0 ABSENT. 1 PASSED this 21st day of June 2005. Ann L Walsh Village Clerk ResftseNeDutyRule Any full time employee, other than an independent contractor, who is a member of any reserve component of the United States Armed Forces, or of any reserve component of the Illinois State Militia, shall be granted leave from his or her public employment for any period of time actively spent in military service. COMPENSATION For call to active duty including Basic Training, an employee shall receive their regular rate of pay less any military pay received, if such military pay is less than their regular compensation. For instances of call to duty for the purpose of Special or Advanced Training, an employee will also receive their regular compensation less military pay if such military pay is less than their regular compensation. For instances of Annual Training, an employee will receive their regular compensation. Additionally, they are eligible to retain the full amount of their military pay. The employee must provide the Village with a copy of their orders upon request The employee must complete any authorization forms prior to taking such leave Resolution No. 37-05 June 21, 2005
