A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE SALT CREEK WATERSHED WORK PLAN AND AUTHORIZING
THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND CLERK TO SIGN THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS , The Village of Elk Grove Village together with the United
States Soil Conservation Service and other certain governmental bodies
have prepared a watershed work plan for the Salt Creek Watershed , and
WHEREAS, certain parcels of land included in the watershed work
plan are located within the Village of Elk Grove Village, said parcels
being located in those areas along and near Salt Creek and/or its
branches identified in the watershed work plas a Reaches H, I , and J, and
WHEREAS , the watershed work plan provides that the above mentioned
parcels be retained as flood plain for the storage of floodwaters and in
general kept as open space,
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED that the Village President and Village
Clerk are hereby authorized to sign the Watershed Work Plan Agreement
for and in the name of the Village,. a copy of which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof as if fully set forth.
That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval according to law.
