CLIFFORD OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of Illinois, wish to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation, in memory of Captain William J. Clifford of the Elk Grove Villaqe Fire Department, for his outstanding services to the residents of the Village, and WHEREAS, William J. Clifford had been actively engaged in youth activities in the Village, and particularly as a coach for the Queen of The Rosary Football Team, and WHEREAS, William J. Clifford was a member of the first Elk Grove Village Fire Department from 1959 through 1965, and was instrumental in its development, and was one of the first members of the Elk Grove Village Fire Department at the time of its inception as a full time Fire Department in 1966, and because of hi's dedication to duty, rose to the rank of Captain in the Elk Grove Village Fire Department, and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees wish to express to his family recognition of his very special contributions to the Village and its grateful citizens. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
