A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE ELK GROVE VILLAGE, VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS
POST NO. 9284 AND THE LADIES AUXILIARY
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village wishes to express its thanks
and appreciation to the Elk Grove Village, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post
No. 9284 and to the Ladies Auxiliary of Post No. 9284, for their generous
donations of flags on the occasion of the dedication of the new Municipal
Building, Police Station and Fire Headquarters Station, and
WHEREAS, The Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post No. 9284 have, since the
time of their Charter, provided numerous civic and social services for the
benefit of Elk Grove Village residents, and
WHEREAS, -The Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post No. 9284 have, since 1965,
been the Official Color Guard of the Village of Elk Grove Village, and
WHEREAS, it is both fitting and proper that the Veterans of Foreign
Wars, Post No. 9284 and the Ladies Auxiliary be recognized for their very
special contributions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, that the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post
No. 9284 and the Ladies Auxiliary is hereby commended for their generous
donations and services which have played a vital and important role in the
lives of the residentsof this community.
Section 1. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval according to law.
