A RESOLUTION C-OHMEND I NG REVEREND QUEM I N GOODRICH
WHEREAS , the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
15Ik Grove Village wish to express their thanks and appreciation to
Reverend Quentin Eoodrich, and
WHEREAS , Reverend Goodrich has been Chairman of the Community
Services Board of the Village of Elk Grove Village for the last two
years and a member of the Community Services Board for four years , and
WHEREAS, Reverend Goodrich leas through his leadership and knowledge
been instrumental in the continuation of the Community Services Board ,
and
WHEREAS, it is both fitting and proper that he be recognized for
his very special contributions , and
WHEREAS, Reverend Goodrich has now found it necessary to resign
from the Community Services Board and also from the Chairmanship of the
Board of the Lutheran Welfare Services of Illinois, effective November
17, 1972, to become Executive Director of Lutheran Community Services
of Tacoma, Washington.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of
Illinois , that Reverend Quentin Goodrich is hereby commended for his service
to our Village and extended our sincerest wishes for health and happiness
in his future endeavors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED , that this resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
