NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Du Page,
State of Illinois:
Section 1: That in consideration of the action of the Village of
Schaumburg authorizing the Village of Elk Grove Village
to connect a sanitary sewage system force main to the
Sanitary System facilities of. the Village of Schaumburg
pursuant to engineering plans 4500-2 (12-24-70 & revised
1-28-71) filed with the Metropolitan Sanitary District.
Section 2: That the Village of Elk Grove Village agrees to the following
conditions and provisions:
1. The Village of Elk Grove Village shall pay to the Village
of Schaumburg its proportionate share of both electrical
energy charges and maintenance costs for the Schaumburg
Lift Station and force main facility which are also used
by the Village of E1}: Grove Village. Said amount to be
determined by the Engineers of both Villages.
2. Upon written notice from the Village of Schaumburg, the
Village of Elk Grove Village will, within 90 days:
A. Construct a sanitary sewer force main along
the west side of Plum Grove Road in the
easement acquired by the Village of Schaumburg
to a point of connection with an existing MSD
interceptor sewer at Higgins Road and Plum Grove
Grove.
B. Disconnect the: Village of Elk Grove Village force
main from the Village of Schaumburg sanitary sewage
system.
Section 3: That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its
passage
and approval according
to law.
