RESOLUTION NO. 22-67
A RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION TO JOHN HAAR
WHEREAS, John Haar has served faithfully as Fire Chief
for the Village of Elk Grove Village during the years 1962 -
1967; and
WHEREAS, during this period, the Fire Department of
Elk Grove Village has obtained excellence due, in large part;
to his service and his leadership; and
WHEREAS, due to the press of personal affairs, he has
rdsigned as Fire Chief and it is therefore appropriate that
his service be specifically noted;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the President and
Board of Trustees, Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and Du Page, that John Haar be and is especially commended
for his services to the Village of Elk Grove Village as Fire
Chief and for his conscientious endeavors in building a Fire
Department of excellence for the Village of Elk Grove Village.
