A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THE VILLAGE OF
NILES AS "THE ALL AMERICAN CITY".
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village through
its Junior Chamber of Commerce, annually conducts a Peony
Pageant; and
WHEREAS, it is appropriate and proper that the Village
of Niles be acknowledged and recognized as "The All American
City" at the Peony Pageant to be held in the.Village,of
Elk Grove Village on June 6, 1965;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and DuPage, State of Illinois:
Section 1. That the Village of Niles be and is hereby
recognizedzed as—IT-he A1.1 American City" and the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village are
hereby authorized and directed to grant special recognition
to said village and its officials at the Peony Pageant to be
held under the auspices of the Junior Chamber of Commerce on
June 6, 1.965.
Section 2. This resolution shall be in full force and
effectrow m aand after its passage and approval according to law.
