A RESOLUTION ACIXOWLEDGING THE BENEFICIAL ACTIVITIES
OF THE YOUTH COMMISSION OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, it is acknowledged that the youth of the community
are and should be of primary concern to the parents and govern-
mental bodies operating within the Village of Elk Grove Village, and
WHEREAS, the Youth Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village
heretofore established and its members have actively and voluntariy
and without concern for private gain devoted themselves unselfishly
to the promotion of beneficial youth programs, and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the President and Board of
Trustees publicly acknowledge such efforts,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook County,
Illinois:
Section 1. That the Youth Commission of the Village of :lk
Grove Village and each of its members are to be complimented
for their beneficial activity on behalf of the youth of said
Village and especially for the giving of a Halloween party for
same, which endeavors have benefited many children individually
and the Village collectively, and that the activities of each
of said members as well as all persons participating and cooperating
with said Youth Commission are to be complimented for their un-
selfish and voluntary activity in this regard.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force ane- sffect
from and after its passage and approval according to.law.
PASSED this 11th day of December, 1961.
APPROVED this 13th day of December, 1961.
