RESOLUTION authorizing additional
use of sewage treatment„
WHEREAS_ the President and Board of Trustees of the Village;
of Elk Grove Village, Cook County, Illinois, on .August 26, 1957, duly
approved the location, construction and use of a sewage lagoon as a
method of sewage treatment as a temporary measure limiting its use to
a population of 340; and
WHEREAS, request has been made to enlarge and extend the use
of said sewage lagoon to serve an additional 20J homes.
NOW, THEREFORE, 13E IT RESOLVED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village,Cook County,Illinois:
Section I. That a permit be and the same is hereby authorized to
be issued by the Village Clerk to the Elk Grove Water and Sewer Company
to enlarge and extend the use of the temporary oxidation lagoon to serve
an additional 200 homes, which said use is subject to termination
upon the completion of the Metropolitan Sanitary District of Greater
Chicago's interceptor sewer now under construction, scheduled to be
completed on or before March. 1. 1958.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect
forthwith *apon its adoption and approval accord!ng to law',
ADOPTED t11 16th day of Novernber,A. D. 1957.
