AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PARAGRAPHS A. AND B. OF
SECTIONS 3-5-A-1 (ORD. NOS. 2378 AND 3015) PERTAINING TO
TUBERCULOSIS (TB) SCREENING
WHEREAS; the Board of Health and Community Services reviewed the current
requirements of the Food Service and Retail Food Store Sanitation Codes and determined it
practical to eliminate the requirement that persons employed by a food establishment or retail
food store must undergo tuberculosis screening as a condition of employment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village; Counties of Cook and DuPage Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That paragraph A. of Section 3-5A. -1; Codes Adopted; Amendments; be
amended by deleting therefrom Section 750.500 c. and from the therein adopted State of Illinois
Rules and Regulations and that Paragraph B. of Section 3-5A. -l; be amended by deleting
therefrom Section 760.400 c. from its therein adopted State of Illinois Rules and Regulations.
Section 3: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish this ordinance in
pamphlet form.
Section 4: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage;
approval and publication according to law.
