Minutes of Meeting VILLAGE CLERK'S OFFICE
10/27/09
In attendance were VP Krzywicki, Trustee Garr and Trustee Torres. Absent were
President Ambrose and Secretary Greenberg. A quorum was present. Also in attendance
were Treasurer Tromp and Financial Advisor Mary Tomenek. The meeting was called to
order at 3:30 PM by VP Krzywicki.
The minutes were read. A motion to approve was made by Trustee Garr, second by
Trustee Torres. Trustees Garr, Krzywicki, Torres—Aye. Motion approved.
The treasurer's report was read by Treasurer Tromp. A financial statement audit was
completed and the results will be sent to President Ambrose. Changes were made to
pension recipient Konetzke's amount due to his turning 55 years of age. Changes were
made to pension recipient Gustafson's amount due to his turning 55 years of age and a
retroactive payment for Department pay ranking from union contract. Motion to accept
was made by Trustee Garr, second by VP Krzywicki. Trustees Garr, Krzywicki, Torres—
Aye. Motion approved.
A recommendation was made by Advisor Tomenek to transfer an additional $1,000,000
from Macquarie Allegiance Capital to McDonnell Investment Municipal Account.
Motion made by Trustee Garr, second by VP Krzywicki. Trustees Garr, Krzywicki,
Torres—Aye. Motion approved.
New Business
A notification was made to the Board from the Fire and Police Commission advising
Ofcs. Callaghan and Jedlink successfully passed their probationary period and were
appointed to the permanent position of Police Officer effective 09/19/2009.
Advisor Tomenek provided an update on the availability of an on-line Continuing
Professional Education ethics training as required by statute. She would have more
information about the class in the near future.
The neat meeting was scheduled for January 19'h, 3:30PM at 901 Wellington Ave, Elk
Grove.
Motion to adjourn was made by Garr, second by Torres. Trustees Garr, Krzywicki,
Torres—Aye. Motion approved. Meeting adjourned.
