Elk Grove Village Plan Commission
Wednesday, February 18, 1981
The regular meeting of the Plan Commission was called to order at 8:00
p.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 1981 in the Multi-Purpose Room of the
Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Avenue.

Landscaping Plan for U.S. Home Development
Kenna explained that U.S. Home had submitted a landscaping plan for
the condominium development located at the northeast corner of Biesterfield
and Leicester Roads.
Mullen indicated that he would like to know the specific type of
Maple tree that is being proposed for the development. Mullen also
questioned the advisability of placing Oak trees in close proximity to
the buildings.
Glass commented that the scale of the plan and the size of the
bushes should be shown on the proposed landscaping plan.
Kenna directed staff to advise the petitioner of the Plan Commission's
concerns.
Comprehensive Master Plan
Kenna explained that the planning consultant had prepared an overlay
showing the Barton-Aschman Thoroughfare Plan for the Village which was
prepared in 1971. Kenna indicated that an additional overlay should be
prepared showing the existing thoroughfare conditions in the Village.
The meeting adjourned at 9:40 p.m.
