Home My WebLink AboutPLAN COMMISSION - 08/20/1975 - EG HOMEOWNERS ASSOC/ROHLWING GROVE #1/CS RESUB MINUTES ELK GROVE VILLAGE PLAN COMMISSION August 20, 1975 The regular meeting of the Plan Commission was called to order at 8:07 p.m. in the Staff Conference Room of the Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Avenue. MEMBERS PRESENT: MEMBERS ABSENT: Alvin Krasnow Edward Hauser Warren Jacobsen Richard McGrenera Stanley Klyber William Wesley Thomas Hamilton STAFF PRESENT: William Shannon Gary Parrin, Adm. Assistant Leah Cummins Elk Grove Estates Homeowners Association Mr. John J. Woods , Resident Manager of the Elk Grove Estates Homeowners Association, has requested a special use permit for a temporary mobile office to be located off Cosman Road, one block west of Charles Drive. The permit would be for the period ending December 31 , 1976. The Building Department had no objection to the temporary use. Cummins moved to approve the special use permit under the provisions mentioned in the Building Commissioner' s August 20, 1975 memo and in accordance with Mr. Walter's letter of August 20, 1975. Krasnow seconded the motion. All present voted 'AYE' . Rohlwing Grove Unit I Rohlwing Grove Unit I is located at the northeast corner of Devon Avenue and Rohlwing Road (a portion of the SBL property) . Cummins moved to approve the subdivision. Shannon seconded the motion. All present voted 'AYE' . C-S Resubdivision (Northeast Corner of Nicholas Boulevard & Devon Avenue) Klyber moved to approve C-S Resubdivision. Krasnow seconded the motion. All present voted 'AYE' . Vale Tract Steve Bilheimer, of Centex Corporation, would prefer to work with Elk Grove Village's present R-4 PUD district and incorporate within the R-4 the Plan Commission's reply to the questions presented in the joint memorandum prepared by the Village Attorney and the Planning Consultant. Bilheimer will prepare an R-5 Ordinance based on the present R-4 and to the remarks presented by the Commission to the questions in the joint memorandum.
