MINUTES
ELK GROVE VILLAGE PLAN COMMISSION
December 9, 1974
The special meeting of the Plan Commission was called to order at
8:20 P.M. on Monday, December 9, 1974 in the Trustees' Conference
Room of the Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Avenue.

Staff Present: Thomas Rettenbacher, Building Commissioner

BONAVOLONTA
Chairman Mc Grenera read the letter he prepared, and which will be
presented to the Village Board, regarding the Plan Commission's
discussionson the SBL petition. The Commissioners present did not voice
any objections.
Mr. Rettenbacher reviewed Plat #6 (December 5) for compliance with
Section 4.42 of the Zoning Ordinance. The following were- not shown on
the Plat:
1 . Development and construction time schedules (E)
2. Common open space and public land (F)
3. Language of regulation to insure compliance
with the plan (I )
4. Site plan has not been certified by a
registered land surveyor (J)
In addition, the location of the various uses, number and types of
dwelling units and the location of each building, its height and number
of stories, are generally shown although lacking some detail .
Hauser stated that he dislikes the revised plat (Plat #6) . The developer
is not fulfilling the 10% land donation; people living in the northeast
corner of the property (three buildings) must drive through a parking lot
to get to and from their apartment buildings; the turnaround at the north
end of the private drive was eliminated and the park area was expanded
(continued. . . . .
to the east rather than south along Rohlwing Road. The Plat was
changed drastically from the one Mr. Hauser moved to approve.
Also, the developer removed a number of suggestions that resulted
from the Planning Consultant's report (10-31-74) .
The meeting adjourned at 9:05 P.M.
