ELK GROVE VILLAGE PLAN COMMISSION
September 16, 1987

The meeting was called to order by Acting Chairperson Leah Cummins
at 8:11 P.M.
STERLING SUBDIVISION
(2 lots at 1963 Touhy, west of Nicholas Blvd.)
Members discussed the proposed two lot Sterling Subdivision located
at 1963 Touhy Avenue. Robin Weaver reported that the only obstacle to
staff approval of the Plat was that the existing building was not
drawn to scale. The petitioner agreed to make the correction.
John Glass moved that the Plan Commission recommend approval of the
Sterling Subdivision subject to staff review and approval. The motion
was seconded by George Mullen and approved unanimously (Paliganoff and
Geinosky absent) .
MCDONALD!S SPECIAL LOCATION PLAN
(1400 Busse Road)
A Special Location Plan for the McDonalds Restaurant at 1400 Busse
Road was presented and discussed. The Plan alters the current drive-
thru direction and adds stacking spaces. Staff recommended approval .
A motion was made by John Glass and seconded by Phil Knudsen to
recommend approval of the McDonald's Special Location Plan. The motion
passed unanimously (Paliganoff and Geinosky absent) .
BIESTERFIELD ROAD EXTENSION AND BIESTERFIELD ROADIX--290 INTERCHANGE
Leah Cummins initiated a discussion on the merits and the disadvantages
of the Biesterfield Road Extension and the interchange at 1.290 and
Biesterfield Road. Members discussed the history of their recommendations

and decisions made by the Village Board.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:47 P.M.
