After discussion of Docket 69-2, concerning the rezoning from
B-1 to M-1, Tom Hamilton moved that we approve said request.
Seconded by Bill Shannon; vote was unanimous.
Member Gerald Tvrdy arrived at the. meeting. Chai_k-mian Schwellen--
back left, and Mr. Bantner was appointed Acting Chairman .
A discussion was " then held on D--c zet 69-1. It was decided to
hold off any recommendation until the ordinance had been. approved.
With respect to the proposed ordinance providing for nursing homes,
Leah Cummins moved that said ordinance be returned to the Village
attorneys for "rewriting. Seconded by Tom Hamilton. W. R_ Ballard
and Dick Potkor voted against the motion, the balance of the
members voted for; motion carried.
Tom Hamilton then moved that the Plan Commission send to the
Village attorneys the recrznmendations of the Fire Department for
incorporation into the proposed ordinance, as well as recommend
that on Section 2, sub-.heading 7 , "bathrooms" be changed to
"bathroom; " on sub-heading 8, the last portion of the sentence
be changed from "one space for each 800 feet of building .area"
to "one space for each 800 square feet of floor area. " He also
recommended that the Village attorneys give the proposedcrdinance
a general_ refining to assure compliance with all other ordinances
and restrictions of the Village . This was seconded by Gerald
Tvrdy. W. R. Ballard and Dick Potker voted against; all other
members voted in favor. Motion carried.

It was then decided that further discussion should be held on
Docket 69-1. After due consideration, Tom Hamilton moved that,
subject to the adoption of the proposed ordinance providing for
nursing home, special use be granted, provided the developer
build a full width two-way street adjacent to the property on
�,'ihich the nursing home is to be located and also along the entire
western boundry of Section 15 . This is necessary in order to
provide -access to the property in question, the homes in the
area, to St. Alexius Hospital, as well as for fire protection,
for public access, and to comply with the Village Master Plan
which calls for the construction of this street (Bisner Road) .
It will also avoid the necessity for the Village or homeowners
to build this street at their expense at some later date. Motion
seconded by W. R. Ballard; vote was unanimous.
At this point Mrs. Cummins left the meeting.
On Centex Industrial Park, Unit 121, preliminary and final plats ,
Tom Hamilton moved that the plats be rejected . since no rear lot
easement was "shown. Seconded by "Dick Potker. Vote was unanimous.
W. R. Ballard moved for the approval of the preliminary and
final plats of Centex Industrial Park, Unit 122. Seconded by
Bill Shannon; vote was unanimous.
