PLAN COMMISSION MEETING September 14, 1966
7 p.m.
The members present were:
Steve Schwellenbach, Chairman
Leah Cummins
Bill Ballard
Gayle Bantner
Dick McGrenera
Jack Denny
A discussion was held concerning what a single family unit was.
The Commission agreed it should be defined in the new ordinance.
A lengthy discussion ensued concerning home occupations . The
Chairman called for a vote as to whether home occupations should
be left in the new ordinance or should be stricken from the
ordinance which would in the effect prohibit them. The vote was
as follows :

Jack Denny Yes as exists now without a sign
Gayle Bantner No
Bill Ballard No
Leah Cummins Yes as exists now without a sign
Steve Schwellenbach No
By the 4-2 vote the Chairman was instructed to request Tec Search
to delete home occupations from the ordinance.
Dr. Boles appeared before the Commission on the industrial clinic
proposed at Elmhurst and Higgins Road. The Commission took it
under advisement .
