Minutes of the October 12, 2010 Elk Grove Village Police Pension Board meeting.
President Ambrose called the meeting to order at 3:31 p.m. Present were Greenberg, Krzywicki, Parrin,
Tromp, and Financial Advisor Mary Tomanek. Absent was Torres.
The minutes of the last regular Board meeting, July 20, 2010, and the minutes of the Mason hearing,
August 18, 2010 were read. A motion to approve both sets of minutes was made by Parrin, seconded by
Krzywicki. Unanimous.
Tromp presented the Treasurer's Report, which included balance sheet dated August 2010 and
disbursement register. A motion to approve the Treasurer's Report was made by Krzywicki, seconded
by Parrin. Unanimous.
Old Business
Mary Tomanek presented an updated report on the statu's of the Fund's investments. A motion was
made by Krzywicki, seconded by Parrin, to move $1,000,000.00 from Becker Capital Fixed Income to
Pimco Total Return. Unanimous.
New Business
The Board discussed the disability status of Celia and Schumert. Ambrose and Greenberg will contact.
Board attorney Reimer with questions about both of them, and about sending Celia to a different doctor
for his annual evaluation.
The Board received the following hills:
$307.69 for attorney Reimer re: April legal fees
$87.50 for attorney Reimer re:June legal fees
$131.25 for attorney Reimer re:July legal fees
$577.50 for attorney Reimer re: August legal fees
A motion was made by Krzywicki, seconded by Parrin, to approve payment of these bills. Unanimous.
Ambrose announced the next Board meeting will be February 15, 2011 at 3:30 p.m. at 901 Wellington,
Elk Grove Village, (Hinois.
A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Parrin, seconded by Krzywicki. Unanimous,
