ORDINANCE NO. 1100 <br />AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A FIVE FOOT REAR YARD <br />VARIATION TO THE BARTLETT MANUFACTURING <br />COMPANY, ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 70 NORTH <br />KING STREET, ELK GROVE VILLAGE <br />WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove <br />Village at a public meeting duly called and held according to law <br />considered the question of granting a five foot rear yard variation <br />from the 15 foot rear yard requirement contained in Article 5, <br />Paragraph 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of <br />a building addition; and <br />WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees, after having <br />considered the recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find <br />and believe that an actual hardship exists, justifying a variation as <br />recommended. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of <br />Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and <br />Du Page, Illinois, as foolows: <br />Section 1: That there be granted a five foot variation of <br />Article 5, Paragraph 5.1, of the Zoning Ordinance as it applies to <br />minimum required rear yard to the Bartlett Manufacturing Company <br />to permit the construction of an addition to their existing building <br />on property located at 70 North King Street, and legally described as <br />follows: <br />Lot 1 and the south 60.00 feet of Lot 2 in Higgins <br />Road Commercial Subdivision Unit No. 5, being a resubdivision <br />in the west half of Section 22, Township 41 North, Range 11, <br />East of the Third Principal Meridian, <br />also <br />Lot 23 in Higgins Road Commercial Subdivision Unit <br />No. 17, being a resubdivision in the west half of Section 22, <br />Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal <br />Meridian, all in Cook County, Illinois. <br />
