ORDINANCE N0. D / 3 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 23.903 (LANE <br />DESIGNATION) OF ARTICLE IX (FIRE LANES) OF <br />THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK <br />GROVE VILLAGE. <br />WHEREAS the firm of Draper and Kramer, Agent for the <br />owner of certain property known as the Regency Square Apart- <br />ments, 700 Perrie Drive, in the Village of Elk Grove Village <br />has - through its Resident Manager - petitioned the President <br />and Board of Trustees requesting the establishment of fire <br />lanes on that property (Exhibit A, attached) and, <br />WHEREAS, said property consists of all properties abutting <br />and including private streets named Perrie Drive and Grove <br />Terrace in the Village of Elk Grove Village (Exhibit B, attached); <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, Exhibit B has areas indicated by Red lines <br />designating fire lanes which are approved by the chief of the <br />fire department: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board <br />of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, as follows: <br />SECTION 1: That Section 23.903 of the Municipal Code of <br />the Village of Elk Grove Village, which provides for certain <br />areas located in the Village to be designated "Fire Lanes", <br />and making it unlawful for any person or vehicle to block or <br />obstruct wholly or partially any such designated area, be <br />amended by adding thereto the following: <br />L. Regency Square Apartments - all areas designated <br />as Fire Lanes on a map entitled "Perrie Grove <br />Apartments", which map is hereby incorporated <br />as a part of Ordinance No. _4�.2 <br />2 <br />
